Q. What time can I check in and check-out at Shangri-la?

A. Check in is from 2 p.m, and check out is by 11 am the following day. Arriving Late? Guest can check-in anytime after 2:00 p.m on your arrival date, Guest/s will receive check-in information via email.


Q. Do I save money by booking on this website

Q. How far are you from the airport?

A. 18 mins drive from Owen Roberts International Airport.


Q. Do we need to rent a car?

A. Yes renting a car is recommended to experience the entirely of the Island.


Q. Are children allowed?

A. We can only accommodate children over 10 years of age.


Q. What is your smoking policy?

A. Shangri-La is an entirely non-smoking property (US$200 fine for smoking in the house or on the property).


Q. What is your cancellation policy?

A. Guests will be charged 50% of the total reservation amount if they cancel more than 30 days before check-in. Reservations covering any part of Dec 20-Jan 6, or cancellations made within 30 days of check-in, are non-refundable. Out of fairness to all guests, our cancellation policy is applied consistently.


Q. What is your payment policy?

A. 50% deposit to book & 50% balance no sooner than 1 month prior to check-in (except from Dec 20-Jan 6).


Q. How far is Shangri-La Bed & Breakfast from 7 mile beach?

A. We are located 2.75 miles from the center of a 7-mile public beach.


Q. Are beach towels & and beach chairs available?

A. Yes, we supply fluffy beach towels per person and chairs at no charge.


Q. Do I need to exchange my money for the local CI Dollar?

A. Most establishments accept the US and the local Cayman Dollar – all other currencies can be exchanged at many local Banks.


Q. Can we use the main kitchen to cook?

A. The main kitchen is for B&B staff use but we do provide a BBQ grilling area in the garden for our guests.


Q. Do you have a wireless internet connection?

A. WiFi id provided throughout the B&B and is free to use. Details of the network name and password can be found in the living room and B&B brochure in your room.


Q. What type of payment methods are accepted?

A. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Both credit and debit cards are accepted.


Q. Is breakfast included in the room rates?

A.  Our breakfast is optional, to guest who wants to avail we charge US$28 per person. Breakfast is served between 8:30 am to 9:30 am.
